How booking works

  1. Tell us the day

Start with the date, then the addresses, the guest count and the vehicles you have in mind. It takes about two minutes.

  2. Get a written quote

You receive the vehicles, the hours reserved and an itemized price, with the deposit and cancellation terms written out.

  3. Plan the timeline

Closer to the date we build the run sheet with you or your planner: every pickup, stop and photo break, and who rides where.

  4. Enjoy the wedding day

Chauffeur and vehicle details arrive before the day. The car is on site ahead of the first pickup, and the schedule is followed stop by stop.

Planning wedding transportation in the DC area

Washington is a beautiful place to marry and a demanding place to drive. Most wedding days here cross at least one river, one state line or one stretch of downtown with event closures, so the timeline matters as much as the car.

Build the day backwards from the ceremony

Start with the time the ceremony begins, then work back: the couple usually arrives last, the bridal party a little earlier, and family before them. A planner will often want the wedding party on site 30 to 45 minutes before the processional. Each of those arrivals is a pickup on the run sheet, and each one decides whether you need one vehicle making two trips or two vehicles running at once.

Leave room for the bridges and the Beltway

A Georgetown hotel to a ceremony in Arlington is a short distance that can take very different times on a Saturday afternoon, and the same is true of trips across the Potomac on the Key, Memorial and 14th Street bridges or along I-66 and the Capital Beltway. We add buffer time to every leg that crosses a river or a major highway, and more for afternoon events downtown.

Photos at the monuments

Many couples stop at the Lincoln Memorial, the Tidal Basin, the Capitol or the Georgetown waterfront between the ceremony and the reception. Stopping and loading near the National Mall is restricted in many places, so the route and the drop-off points are planned before the day, and the time spent at each stop is written into the schedule with your photographer.

Guests who are staying at hotels

When guests stay in a room block, a shuttle that loops between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception keeps everyone on time and means nobody drives after the toasts. The last return trip is set before the night begins, so guests know when it leaves.

Virginia wine country and Maryland venues

Loudoun County winery weddings and estates in Middleburg, Potomac or on the Chesapeake have longer drives and darker, narrower roads at the end of the night. Those weddings usually need a larger guest shuttle and more hours, which is why we ask for both venues before quoting.

Washington DC first, then Virginia and Maryland

Downtown hotels, Georgetown chapels and Capitol Hill churches, the estates and wineries of Northern Virginia and the waterfronts of Maryland.

FAQs about our wedding limo service

How far ahead should we book our wedding limo service?
Most couples book 6 to 12 months ahead, and earlier for Saturdays in spring and fall, when DC, Virginia and Maryland weddings cluster. Send your date now: we confirm what is available before anything is reserved.
How many hours do we need?
It depends on the plan. A ceremony-to-reception run is short, while a day that covers getting ready, the ceremony, photos at the monuments and the reception entrance usually needs several hours. We build the hours from your timeline, and most vehicles have a minimum on wedding dates.
What is included in the quote?
The vehicle, the chauffeur, the hours reserved and an itemized price. Gratuity, tolls, parking and any décor requests are listed as their own lines, together with the deposit and cancellation terms, so the total is clear before you book.
Can the car be decorated?
Tell us what you have in mind when you request the quote, for example a red carpet arrival or a "Just Married" sign. What we can provide, and anything you bring yourself, is written on the quote so there are no surprises on the day.
Can we have champagne in the limo?
Rules depend on the vehicle and on Washington DC, Virginia or Maryland law, and the policy is written on your quote. Alcohol is only for guests 21 and older.
Do you provide shuttles for our wedding guests?
Yes. Guest shuttles run between hotel room blocks, the ceremony and the reception on a timed loop, with the last run set before the evening ends. We size the vehicle to the guest count.
What happens if the schedule runs late?
Weddings rarely run exactly to the minute. Your quote says how extra time is handled, and the chauffeur stays in touch with your planner or a named contact so changes are made on the day.
Which areas do you serve?
Washington DC is our main area, together with Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, McLean, Tysons, Reston, Leesburg, Middleburg and Loudoun wine country) and Maryland (Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Silver Spring, Rockville, National Harbor and Annapolis).
